There are more than seven hundred species of eucalyptus (most are native to Australia) and the Eucalyptus Globulus is a variant that is most favoured for papermaking.

Our Clariana envelopes are known for their high-quality paper and they owe this quality to fibre taken from the Eucalyptus Globulus.

The short fibre length of Eucalyptus Globulus is uniform and has a low coarseness compared with other hardwoods used as pulpwood.

This gives paper made from this plant high opacity, softness, smoothness, absorbency and dimensional stability (the ability to resist shrinkage when subjected to changes in temperature and humidity)
